Our mission is to foster sustainable success for Cobham’s local economy and support its all round vibrancy.
Our focuses fall into four main categories: marketing & promotion, car parking, safe & green and business support & networking. Read on to find out more.
During the ballot process, a dedicated task group consulted with each of the businesses in the local area to get input on what improvements they’d like to see and where they thought efforts and funds should be allocated.
Reviewing the feedback, this was packaged into four key strategic themes which will keep us on track and ensure that we achieve our overarching vision and ambitions for Cobham.

We will create new channels to engage residents and visitors and promote everything that is happening within our village. We are also putting a full social media strategy and events plan in place, building on top of the great community platforms Cobham has been historically running.

We all want Cobham to continue to be an attractive place & we will be adding further planting & doing other initiatives to enhance the street scene. As for safety, by partnering with you, the Police, & the local authority, we will introduce measures to deter crime & to make it easier to share information when crime is happening.

We are seeking central procurement opportunities to save businesses on daily costs. We will represent your interests at the local & national levels ensuring that we access all funding opportunities as they arise. Further to this, we will facilitate interactive advisory workshops & networking events to support you & your business.

We understand the vast pressure that our limited parking is having on you, your staff and the limited capacity for visitors. We have teamed up with Elmbridge Borough Council to properly investigate possible solutions & will be trialling a system which could both alleviate the bottleneck in Hollyhedge car park, as well as offer new lower-cost options for local staff.
